Presently, in my body.

About half a year ago I did something to my back. I don’t know what it was, but it hurt, and my reaction was to be as still as humanly possible but it just kept getting worse and worse. It lasted about a full month.

Yesterday I twinged my back. It was the same spot, the same feeling and I was worried. Immediately  I started stretching myself in weird ways and putting a hot pack on it and wiggling my spine. I hadn’t realized it, but over the last few months, I’ve learned enough about being present in my body, that my body knew what to do to fix the problem. And it only took a few hours instead of weeks!

I feel really proud of myself for this, and I’m feeling more confident about continuing to explore my physicality.
