It’s a group effort

So I’m working on making 2 playlists for Bobby.  One for sleepy time and one for fun sing along time.  I have a total of 9 songs.

What songs would you suggest for each category?

On this day:

In 2008 – a poem about anger
In 2007 – yoga ended up sucking
In 2006 – cheesy songs
In 2005 – oh I LOVE beavertails!

The Rainbow Connection by Kermit the Frog for sleepy time. If you don’t have it I can e-mail it to you.

  3. Matt’s favorite fun song is Nasty Dan by Johnny Cash. Okay.. I’ll be honest… I actually love the song as much as Matt does. I miss you, and I swear I’m reading all the Bobby Socks updates!! He’s the cutest thing ever & his hair makes me melt. *hugs*
I’m still blogging.. just in a new family accessible location! http://www.ellisnest.blogspot.com

The Tonklings like Stevie Wonder (Sir Duke, Superstitious, I Wish), Ben Folds Five (Jackson Cannery, Underground), Bee Gees (You Should Be Dancing). They LOVE the “Wicked” soundtrack. The “Curious George” (i.e. Jack Johnson) soundtrack has songs that are good for quiet and fun time. SG really likes Paramore and the Indigo Girls while JP is a big fan of Muse. The only “kid” music I can stand (and actually really enjoy) are the Backyardigans and the Laurie Berkner Band. Mr. Tonks and I have both found ourselves alone in our respective cars and unwittingly singing along to the Backyardigans CD because it’s just that much fun. I can also get away with listening to purely classical music and neither of them complains (SG likes Beethoven while JP prefers Mozart and Vivaldi).
